Sunday School

"Gather the people-men, women, children, and foreigners living within your gates-so that they may listen and learn to fear the Lord your God and be careful to follow all the words of this law."       Deuteronomy 31:12

The single purpose of our Sunday School ministry is to teach people the Bible. The people we want to teach are (1) believers or people who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior, and (2) unbelievers or people who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. Our objective in teaching believers is to help them become stronger and more effective witnesses for the kingdom. Our objective in teaching unbelievers is to help them develop a strong biblical knowledge base so they can make informed decisions concerning their spiritual life.

Our textbook is the Bible. We do use supplemental materials provided by the Southern Baptist Convention and some audio/video aids that enhance our lesson plans.

Our effort is to reach every age group from babies to the most senior citizen. We have organized classes for men, women, young adults, youth, young children, infants & toddlers. All of our classroom leaders are extremely knowledgeable and dedicated.

If you are currently not attending a Bible study class, please accept our invitation to come study with us. You are welcome to try as many of our classes as you like before selecting the class that is right for you. There are other enjoyable benefits for attending Bible study, such as the opportunity to meet new friends and to fellowship with new & old acquaintances.
